How JoeScan scanners work.

  1. As each log or board passes within the JS-25 scan head's view, the built-in laser projects a line of light on it.
  2. The scanner's built-in camera views the laser as it intersects the piece, gathering precise data on the piece's shape and dimensions.
  3. Based on that information, the scan head provides data in engineering units so the overall system can interpret it and make optimal decisions.
