How JoeScan scanners work.
- As each log or board passes within the JS-25 scan head's view, the built-in laser projects a line of light on it.
- The scanner's built-in camera views the laser as it intersects the piece, gathering precise data on the piece's shape and dimensions.
- Based on that information, the scan head provides data in engineering units so the overall system can interpret it and make optimal decisions.
